Berry Counselling provides compassionate counselling and psychotherapy services for adults, children, and families in a safe and supportive environment.
At Berry Counselling, the focus is on creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. Every individual experiences challenges differently, which is why sessions are tailored to each person’s unique needs and circumstances.
Using a combination of counselling and psychotherapy approaches, Berry Counselling supports clients through emotional difficulties, stress, anxiety, behavioural concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. The goal is to help clients develop healthier coping strategies, build resilience, and create positive long-term change.
Berry Counselling also recognises the importance of family support, particularly when working with children and young people. Parent meetings and collaborative guidance are available to help create consistency and understanding both during sessions and at home.

About Lisa Stratton

Lisa is deeply committed to your wellbeing and provides a warm, compassionate space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and experiences. She looks forward to working alongside you to create a clear and supportive path forward—one that leads toward greater peace, freedom, and a renewed sense of hope. Whatever you may be facing, you will be met with understanding, respect, and genuine care.
Lisa brings a strong academic and professional foundation to her work. She holds postgraduate qualifications in mental health clinical practice and counselling, having studied at the University of New England and the Australian College of Applied Psychology. She is a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, ensuring her work aligns with recognised professional standards and ethical practices.
In addition to her counselling expertise, Lisa is also a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. This diverse clinical background provides her with a deeper understanding of both physical and emotional health, allowing her to offer a more holistic and well-rounded approach to care.
Lisa is also a Registered NDIS Provider, offering specialised support under approved categories. Her services include Therapeutic Supports and Innovative Community Participation, providing clients with access to tailored care that supports independence, wellbeing, and meaningful engagement in everyday life.
